Eco cleaning is a professional service aimed at deep and safe cleaning of upholstered furniture using specialized equipment and environmentally friendly water-based cleaning solutions. Most sofa dry cleaning services use foaming detergents that contain synthetic ingredients that are difficult to rinse out completely. If not completely removed, they make the fabric rough, slightly sticky, and create harmful residues that you will breathe in.
The main advantage of our eco cleaning is deep rinsing of the upholstery at a speed of 4 liters per minute. This result is possible thanks to a professional Box Extractor with advanced components: Lamb Ametek turbine, Aquatec pump and water heater. This equipment effectively removes sweat and grease stains without aggressive mechanical action, preserving the structure of the fabric, making it soft and returning the brightness of the color.
The first stage of dry cleaning is cleaning from water-insoluble dirt. Using a vacuum cleaner with a turbo brush, hair, lint and sand are removed from the upholstery, and a crevice nozzle cleans hard-to-reach places from food residues and small debris.
Depending on the sofa upholstery material and the degree of contamination, a cleaning solution is prepared. Cleaning components are added to heated water and mixed thoroughly. Then, using a sprayer, the solution is evenly applied to the upholstery, with more being applied in particularly dirty areas.
To make the solution react with the dirt faster and turn it into a homogeneous emulsion, it must be rubbed into the fabric using brushes or an acrylic bonnet. This allows the cleaner to penetrate into the deep layers of the fabric and effectively dissolve the dirt.
For each liter of cleaning solution we use up to 20 liters of rinse aid. A special nozzle with a nozzle rinses the resulting emulsion under pressure (120 psi) with hot (up to 95°C) rinse aid and simultaneously sucks in a powerful vacuum (100 CFM/ 80" of water column), which removes up to 92% of moisture from the fabric. Thanks to the industrial extractor that is used for rinsing, upholstered furniture dries quickly.
After rinsing, a pH test is performed, which should be in the range of 4.8-6.5 (moderately acidic or neutral). If the pH exceeds this value, an additional rinse is performed to ensure that the upholstery is not sticky and stays clean longer. For pile fabrics, the pile is gently smoothed in one direction.
